Fading Horizons (2020-2021)
Fading Horizons reflects on the fragile nature of memory and the shifting sense of belonging that comes with change and migration. In this body of work, I draw from my visual arts practice to explore how places, like memories, gradually blur with time—edges softening, colors fading, and forms dissolving into abstraction. The horizon becomes a metaphor for distance and longing: a space that is always present, yet always out of reach. Through layered imagery and muted tones, these works speak of nostalgia, loss, and the quiet beauty found in transience.
