Fragmented memories of home

My work moves between abstraction and reality as I attempt to capture a sense of memory
through fading imagery. I work with monochromatic palettes, symbolic of the past- the colors
reference old photographs blanching over time. My work revolves around the feelings of
nostalgia, and the recollections that are attached to it. These memories, like layers, one upon
the other, form a stack of unsteady fragments. I shift through them.
